明日之子2，二十世纪七十年代以来，不同种类、体量和区域的丧葬企业或丧葬业者进行同业整合，形成商业互助体系（MAS, The Mutual-Aid System），并组织全国婚礼与葬礼互助协会（NMAA, the National Wedding and Funeral Mutual-Aid Association），将丧葬礼分化为不同的专业环节，每个环节由不同的丧葬公司或丧葬业者接管，并通过链条式的衔接，形成体系化的丧葬服务流程。。
